My name is Dave Corfman. I current live just south of Madison Wisconsin. I have been actively involved in investing in mutual funds inside and outside of retirement accounts for over 13 years. I have been involved in real estate investing since the spring of 2017, when I opened up what would prove to be a successful house flipping company with a friend of mine. I bought my first rental property in the summer of 2018 – a duplex in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. I currently have a portfolio of 19 buildings and 30 units in Rock county, Wisconsin. I plan to move into larger syndications and other rental markets going forward, as well as being opportunistic in my local market. I am also interested in other assets classes, especially in the real estate arena.
I spent over 15 years working for a healthcare IT company before retiring in June of 2020. Now, I live on 3 1/2 acres of land south of Madison in a house I had build in 2017. I am originally from southwest Ohio, and my dad still lives in the house I grew up in outside of Urbana.
